lowering 50mm

    car: VTR mark 2

    what would i need to get a good firm stance on my saxo looking at 50mm . Its lowered 40mm atm but just not low enough, im going to be running on 205 gti 15" alloys will it sit or rub?, heard any lower than 40mm and u need to look at shocks or dampers?

    bit of a novice, any advice wud be appreciated!

    had my eye on the 50mm lowering kit at kam racing.

    blisten shocks are ment to be pretty good believe kam racing stock them

    around £150 ish, with blistein shocks would i need the springs too...?

    £150 would buy enough bricks to lower the back lol.

    You will only really need front shocks and new springs, looking at £200 at least i think.

    keep an eye on ebay and in the for sale section on here m8 they sometimes popup

    im dpwn 50 on standard shocks. had no trouble atm but will definately upgradde soon.

    You wont have any trouble rubbing either. i have 16's and they are not spaced out properly and only get rubbing on full lock!

    save up and get the kit from kam for £340 i think it is. im down 50mm on it and its quality

    If the budget is tight then I would get a decent quality set of springs rather than a really cheap budget spring/damper combo

    just lower on the eibach sportlines for now, i been down on them about 6 months and had no problems.
