nice mate! how much it cost u?

u not wanting an enclosed air filter?
  3. #3
    £99

Nah im going against the norm on an enclosed air filter, i think the difference in terms of bhp gained between enclosed and non enclosed is neglible.

Just look at your evo's, scoobies, skylines, supras and the rally cars.

THey all run open cone filters.

My current K&N just fits straight on the TB at the back of engine where as with this it brings it back to the fornt of the engine bay for cooler air and i think it looks the business too

Steel piping, silicone hosing, carbon chamber, hose clips and of course the filter itself

Comes to £115 with VAT on top

there is a reason why they run open cones, they are turbo cars and as such use an intercooler to cool the air so an enclosed system is completely pointless

Hmm... look at the la-mans 24hr cars, or F1 cars, or FIA GT cars, they use BMC or enclosed filters! Mercs, BMW, Audi, VW etc etc... all use enclosed filters preferably... Colder the air the better. simple! Thats y torbod cars should include an intercooler to cool the air... i went from a pipercross open filter to a bmc & dam the performance is better, throttle responce much improved....

does look sweet, itll look good under the bonnet, good purchase.

Is the "Carbon Fibre" section actually made from real carbon fibre, i would have expected a much higher price if it is.
  15. #15
i live near dp motorsport and they must be very good at what they do because there always busy and some of the cars that they have on there fore court are well nice!
  16. #16
that doesn't really mean the induction kit will be any good though.
  17. #17
sweet looking is good isnt it.... mildly improving performance! so a compromise of style & performace....
  18. #18
must admit..it looks amazing! for all the performance increase it would give...i would sacrifice it for the looks of that kit!!
