    are they legal? and where can i buy them from as i want a set.

    they are ILLEGAL, you will be looking at £30 per plate if you get an arsey copper

    The thing to do if you have them, is to put them on with velcro, and if you do get pulled, say you had only come back from a show and havent changed em back, pull the standard ones from the boot, put em on and you should be ok if you dont get a prick of a pig.

    andyg_star who used to have a sax on here has a JAP rear plate, he gets away with it all the time apparently:

    No, they are illegal on any car registered in the UK

    get them bort, lol. you could just leave the standard plates on and velcro the frnech 1's ova the top, always finkin. then if you get pulled and he goes to give you a fine whip them off, hehe, tried and tested with a mates car.
