#2anything can be done with a lot of time and money.
not sure how you would go about doing it but would be interesting to see. -
#3Simple mate just fit it to your new bumper or even beter get a new light that you like ie smaller beter one then use your old wires to wire it up dead easy mate
-
#4you can use the recess form a 106 rear bumper and fibreglass them together. or get on to demontweeks and look at their number plate light led's.
there was a vt* bumper in the for sale section that had got the 106 recess moulded in not so long ago. or you cn pm me and i'll make one up for you as i run a modding company

#5do you have to have number plate lights?
-
#6yes you do its a legal requirement for your rear numberplate to be lit up
-
#7so is it that easy to run the wires down from the bootlid to the bumper, i mean where exactly to the original wires come from - do they lead up the boot to the roof lining or down to the bootfloor and carpet?
-
#8i believe the wiring runs up one side of the boot so could be pulled back though if you were to drop the head lining down slightly..... personally i think that would be too much messing about and i'd splice into one of the wires connecting tothe sidelights for the rear clustersQuote:so is it that easy to run the wires down from the bootlid to the bumper, i mean where exactly to the original wires come from - do they lead up the boot to the roof lining or down to the bootfloor and carpet?

#11Anyone else have any opinions on what should be done?
-
#12how much will u charge for the bumper with the 106 recess?
-
#13omg how silly can people be , just wire the numberplate lights on your rear bumper to your side lights of your rear clusters? , as your number plate lights only come on when you have your lights on?
