standard number plates!

   right my current plates have the dealer name across the bottom with a crap red border... so i got some fresh ones ordered. they arrived this morning and frankly they're not much better! cheap quality and i'm not keen on how the GB strip looks
   
   
   
   so please what i'm after is pics of your number plates (standard style with blue strip only) with info of where you got them from!
   
   blank out the characters if you wish. its the style i'm bothered about!

   i will get a pic of my plates done soon - but i had them made up at wkend for £20 but my uncle reckons they are illegal - they prob are as i have the normal reg on them like others but underneath reg in small print i have a phrase and where ur GB signs are i have small pic of cartoon dogs with small phrase The Dogs Bollocks! - lol - so guess i may be pushing my luck with them!

   Ive been told that you have to have the name of the place you got your plates from on the bottom. I need some new plattes so can anyone recommend anywhere to buy from?

   yes you do need to have the makers details and a code they put on the plates.
   
   if you know the right people you can get them with nothing on, like mine,lol

   So are yours not legal? The plates that are on mine at the moment are from halfords but you can only see the name halfords when very close because its the same colour as the plate just reflective.

    will check halfords and see are they any good
    
    demonplates looks a really good site, will certainly consider them. maybe give em a ring tomorrow
    
    no1showplates is where i bought these!
    
    got my last lot off fancyplates and they were pretty good. so maybe best just to stick with what you know
