BMC induction

HI all iv got a bmc for my vtr. When i put it on it was quiet but the other day i was driveing to my gf house and the cold air feed came away from the filter about a inch and now its much lounder and fills like iv got more power etc wat do u all think any ideas keep it like that or clip it back on to my BMC ?

just make sure your cone is near the front of your engine bay so it is getting hit with cold air or it wont work so well. You will lose power extend it with flexy pipe if you have to.

i think he means the cold air feed came off and he noticed a difference without it!

id say put it back on but have the cold air feed positioned where its going to get alot of cold air to it!

here is a pic of mine. i have got my cold air feed goin down to a hole that is at the side of the radiator.

if u look down infront of ur radiator and to the right u will see a hole, its about the right size for the pipe. seems to work for me. doesnt pick up any water in the rain either. hope this helps

i have my piperx viper air feed in the same place!

its a good place for it. its gets cold air and its away from anythin that is really hot.

Mines just behind the grille at the mo.
