Vts Turbo Engine In A Furio

  1. #1
    I WAS THINKING ABOUT GETING A VTS ENGINE PUT IN MY FURIO AND GETTING A TURBO PUT ON IT.
    WILL IT BE WORTH IT AND HOW MUCH WILL IT COST AND ANY IDEAS OF WHERE I CAN GET A QUOTE AND IT FITTED?
    MANY THANKS

    Cost, depending on spec, £3-4k upwards.

    We can do it, but don't expect it overnight You would be looking at 3-4 weeks which includes development time of any custom parts and allows time for parts to arrive and be fitted, ran in etc.

    How much for the turbo putting on and engine fitted if I supplied the engine?

    its not that simple as bolting it on lol. But to "fit" a turbo kit, providing 100% of the parts where there, and the engine was delivered to us in a car, and running, more importantly healthy, then i suppose, plus HG etc, around £1500

    many companies have done turbo conversions now and are not in the development stage.

    pug one off, pug performance and gmc are just a few;

    Agreed, i was refering to custom IC mounts, and alike.

    However this is something we would only take on as sideline work at the moment, as we are consentrating on getting our NA tuning kits/products developed

    Turbo works well on the 1.4 TU engines. Not hard to get them to see off most cammed and maped VTS. But then its not hard to get a 1.1 TU turbo to see off a cammed VTS lol

    Pug1off's new turbo system looks immense!

    I'd buy a proper Vts first - get used to the extra oomph over a furio, sort the brakes & suspension then 'charge it!
