A bit of mdf with carpet on top will look good mate. Just use your rear bench as a template, make a cut out on mdf and then carpet it!

you reckon it would be easy enugh to get a couler match on some crpet to cover the mdf?? i was liking the idea of some vinal checker plate, just wasnt sure how i would secure it all down...

Yeah, you should be able to get a colour match easily enough. Just search around on ebay etc... and should be able to find what you need.

Not a big fan of the checker plate tbh. If you were gonna go for that, would probs have to glue it in somehow. Or make it so that it can be attached to the rear seat bolts.

ok mate, cheers for ya help i was just thinking of the checker plate as it would be easier to keep clean if im puting anything in the back and stuff, ill look into it and maybe do abit photoshop etc see wot dif things look like, see wots wot tho, how exactly would i go about building a mdf bit?

am not that handy with diy lol

I get ye. I think the carpet would look smarter though. lol

Making the mdf bit is easy. Just buy a sheet of mdf, put your rear bench and boot carpet ontop of it, draw round them and cut it out. Then all you need to do is carpet it.

wots the rear bench?? the bit of the back seat you sit on? would it not just b easyer to get some rubber gromits and fill the holes where fixing would have went then just get sum carpet, cut it, and no more nails it in place? im very confused here, how dumb must i sound haha

lol yep im from newcastle...I will come and help you, if you get the materials needed!

The rear bench is the bit you sit on in the back. Im not sure you can get grommits big enough to fill the size of the hole in the back.

Just mdf it mate, is really easy to do.
