VTS feeling slow :(

yesterday, i had a 1.2 Clio which i can only assume was standard following me. So i put my foot down and couldnt get away

I was sort of gradually pulling away but not very much

any ideas if anything could be wrong?

all depends wat gear u were in at the time. u could get a 1.6 clio a wee while ago, dont think u can buy it now. it could have even been a 172 or 182, which are really quick.

yeah id say the same as neil it may have been a 1.6 which wouldnt look any different to the 1.2 or it may have been a 1.4 sport which again are quite nippy!

or the car may of had an engine conversion?????

does you car feel slower?

Did you drop it down a cog to try and pull away from the clio?
