FSE Power Boost Valve

The only engine mod i have done to my VTR is put a pipercross air filter and breather valve on it i would like to get a bit more bhp would a FSE Power Boost valve help ? if so how much more power do you gain by one and are they worth it?

i doubt it will do anything at all, if you really want an uprated fuel pressure regulator get the 4.5bar one from GMC. ITs very very doutbful you will gain any power it may sort out any flat spots though. And if your serious about power get rid of the pipercross and get yourself an enclosed kit, then a full exhaust system and then a manifold, after that its big choices

yeah pretty much what scott said! dont buy an fse valve as ive never heard a good thing about them! the gmc fuel pressure regulator is a better alternative! but as scott said enclosed filter eg. bmc, piperx viper then full exhaust system, de-cat then things like cam and a re-map!

cheers for that, yeah i think i am going to go for the BMC airfilter and i am going to start looking at the cost of a full exhaust system and manifold etc

i had a power boost valve on my old calibra and although it did sort out some mid-range flatspots as scott said, it isn't worth spending £100 on one imo.
