Glue removal

    Ok folks i took the 16v badges off the back pillars not so long ago. One came off fine, but the other left the glue that was holding it on in the shape of a 16v on the pillar. So far ive tried getting it off with a hairdryer and credit card, hot soapy water, petrol on a rag and a little white spirits and it still wont budge. Anyone got any suggestions??

    when i took the black strips off my doors. it left sticky stuff. and i just used turtle wax like i was polishing the car. took it off no problem.
