  1. #1
Started doing a few bits to my maritious blue VTR yesterday...smoked heeadlights, tinted rear lights etc... finished off today and wanted to remove the rear wiper and door pins. Undone the rear wiper screw and disconnected mechanism but wiper wont seem to budge, i read about sprayin with wd40 and did this but still wont move...??? Also tried removin door pins but really got frustrated as it just wouldnt seem to unhook from mechanism....any hints/tips would be very much appreciated...... its a mk2 by the way

i found pulling the pin wire towards the car helped me to remove my door pins passanger side is the easyist to do and with the rear wiper just kept on pulling and pushing

i sawed mine off it just wouldnt budge! its easy to saw through and is the better option than yanking it incase you window shatters! i used the grommit from the boot perfect fit and cost 0p

Your car is a Mk1 mate, different mechanisms, Mk1's are far easier to remove than Mk2 pins. Cut them off mate if you can't get them out
