first off all your a spaz for not telling your insurance.

Second of all who ever told you the vts head would go on a vtr is a spaz as well and i bet this person is probably a spaz for the first reason to which makes him a double spaz and you dont want to become a double spaz

wouldnt you need to machine the block to allow oil to pass throu? vtr is only 8v and vts 16v? i know thats the case with fords 8v has 8oil feeds/returns and 16v has 16.
    not to sure about citroens?

does the vts engine fit straight into a vtr?
you must need some extra bits to make it work surely?
  8. #8
engine straight in, need vts ecu etc...
  9. #9
    like the sound of that!
how much do vts motors go for?
are the sensors the same as on a vtr?

have seen VTS engines and wiring loom and ECu selling for between £300 and £700.
VTS lump should come with all necessaries. unless stated.

    So my mother tells me!
  13. #13
yeah vts engines can range between the above prices but i think you'd be looking round the £500 mark for one with everything you need eg wiring loom, ecu, keys, imobiliser box etc.
  14. #14
i only just changed the ignition barrel, keys and locks a few month ago! will in need to do it again to suit the vts ecu and imobiliser?
  15. #15
yes you would but there is away round it which my mate managed to do. id say for less hassle you should do it as then you know they will all work ok! wont need to change the locks unless you really want to as the remote unlocks it!

i changed my keys, ignition barrell, imobiliser box, petrol cap which you can just swap the locks over on.

if you want anymore info mate just ask as id be more than willing to help anyway i could!
