    Hi,

I went into halfords today an they had a viper induction kit for 70 quid....

surely this should be around 250?

I must be missing something - is it perhaps not the full kit?

That sounds like a crazy price if it was the full kit.

But becareful, The Viper kits are expensive for what you get and they do not perform as well as:

Green kits and BMC kits which are both cheaper.

    BMC kits

    Green kits

which is better then, the green kit or the bmc?

How much Could i get a BMC kit for?

send gaz an email at sales@GSMotorsport.com. im sure he'll be able to do a good deal!

Some prefer the Green, some the BMC.

Personally i prefer the BMC after trying both on our demo car. The BMC appeared to keep the air colder for longer with more response after a long journey.

The Carbon of the BMC should work better as well. You can also place the cold air feed where you want, where as the green with a smooth bonnet for example wouldnt be pulling as much air.

so is it worth spending around £250 for a viper. i would like some feed back as i am thinking of getting one.
  13. #13
    Pah! No.
get the BMC for around £180
  14. #14
    The basic answer is NO

Get the green or the BMC.

And even if you wanted the Viper i can do it cheaper than that. Only just mind as Viper for some reason have held it at an extremely high price for some reason.

I got a Green inclosed kit from ripspeed, halfords. I paid 150 for it. They priced me wrong on it. it should have been 180. seems like they cant do anything right!! not complaining though!!
The green does sound good and I noticed a definate power increse with it too. it also looks good under the bonnet. cant really comment on the bmc but I have heard good things about it
