Induction Kit on 1.1 - confused!!

    I have recently bought a 1.1 and it has a K&N filter fitted, there is a pipe that comes off the rocker cover and goes no where - i'm guessing it went into the old air filter somewhere??.

    The pipe that is coming off and going no where is filled up with yellowy gunk, do i need to keep this pipe on the car if it goes no where?

    Also when i am sat in traffic i can smell bad fumes in the car, smells like petrol? any ideas??

    u need a oil breather filter, which u attach to the end of that pipe, which u can buy from halfrauds for about £13.99!!
    i strongly advice you to buy one lol

    i wouldnt advice id tell you to get one. thats letting any moisture/sh*t into your engine

    Id personally clean all the gunk out the breather, possibly from the inside of your rocker cover to and then get a breather.

    The gunk is also caused by short journeys.
