exhaust, cams and remaps

Hi,I own a 2002 saxo vtr and i hav already fitted a induction and full exhaust system except for the manifold the system removes the middle silencer but the cat is on the manifold, a piper manifold is in the post and should be fitted asap so will hav a straight through exhaust and was wondering if the manifold aswell as it been de-catted will make alot of differnce to performance.

also i was thinkin of gettin my ecu remapped but was wondering if any1 could tell me if it will make a difference as my cams r still standard.

a bhp gain estimate or if any1 already has these mods and knows there bhp would be helpful

    could sum1 help, cheers

you should be looking at around 110 to 115 bhp and around 115 to 120 with cam in and 130 bhp with a ported and gasflowed head on

105 bhp with full exhaust system, manifold and induction kit.
and about 112 with a chip and remap
and 122 with cams and remap

not really worth tunin a vtr then is it?

cool that helps alot, if im right i think a mk2 vtr has like 8 bhp more than a mk1 as standard (think its sumthing to do with inlet or throttle body) and run at 100 bhp and 0-60 is like 9.1 secs so how much difference does any1 reckon it would make to my 0-60 time if i got my car running at say 117 estimate or wouldnt it make much difference,
    cheers

But the mk2 is €3 and is not so rough as the mk1(it´s €2) so you would probably gain in top bhp, but a mk1 with the same things would be better

I can say u that a friend of mine has the head of 1.3 rallye (with the cam of 1.3 and aspiration..) complete exauhst, cup air filter and map, and he has 124bhp!
    sorry for my bad english
