    covers dont come off mate.
need to remove parcel shelf, parcel shelf supports, rear seat back. lift rear window rubber. then start unclipping rear quater panel.

there was someone saying about disconnecting by just prising them away at the edges then reaching in. But dont think its worth breaking anything to do it like that.
does take a little while to do, but is the safer option.

no need to remove the rear parcel shelf supports

    -Remove the parcel shelf
-take the rubber seal off from the front door sill and the rear window.
-take the seat belt bolt out
-working from the bottom of the door pillar start to pull the rear panel out..it will release plastic clips!
-remove the rear back seat its enough to allow it to come out easily. just jiggle it past the rear clip that goes over the panel)
-once all the 3 or 4 door panel clips are out start pull the panel outward

lol, parcel shelf supports sit over the little clip for the quarter apanel trim. So if you dont take them out, you would have to bend that clip to get it out.. Or atleast thats how mine line up with each other and just slot in place.

I know what ur saying al, but u dont need to. I've taken mine out loads of
    times.

All you need to do is
-Pull up bottom half of window rubber seal
-Take out seat part of rear seats to undo the seat belt bolt at the bottom
that is usually covered by rear bench.
-Starting from the bottom by the front door pull off pannel releasing the
    clips
-You will have to jiggle it to get it out due to what al says. There is a
plastic piece that come out from the parcel shelf sill that u will have to
make sure is not jammed in place.
-Generally play with it a bit and it will come out without too much hassel

al, if you lift that clip a little bit it frees it all up and you dont have to
    bend it.

Basically the proper way to do it is the way al said but this is more time
consuming that doing it the other way
