Does any body know how much a new vts engine would cost from citroen. just wondering what it would be like to have a brand new one...

probably something like 3-4k. They aint cheap mate, then again nothing is from citroen.

look around for a vts thats been written off due to backend damage or side damage and buy it for the engine. Alot cheeper.

Would cost loads from citroen. Hi-flowheads sell a brand new vts engine with 0 miles for £2500. Or they sell rebuilt engines with a stage 1 head for £950.

    Engines Clicky

buy a engine where the car has been in an crash...rear end smash...buy the engine...rebuild it...add some cams if you want to...then you've got yaself a engine that will be just like a new one....

It might be just me, but I noticed that all engines from breakers have "32,000 miles" on

The one that's in mine now has "32k" on and so did about 8 others I found before I got the one that's in now... think there was one that had "29k" on it...

Anyone else been told that the engine had about 30k on it? Getting old cars now, there’s not many with low mileage yet there are loads of “low mileage” engines kicking about!

I bet it's not just me... they are all cowboys in breakers! VRS in gateshead had 3 16v engines in... all of which had "32,000" miles on!
