make sure youve got 2 mates if your changin it on the driveway.
me and sax908 did his a while ago, was easy but took a long time.
undo the wheels on the back, chuckem off, get rid of the back box and unhook the centre section, undo brake lines, get rid of the spare wheel cage,
depending on how the new axle comes undo the handbrake cable either under the handbrake in the car or at the rear brakes.
2 bolts under the rear seats
2 bolts under the bootcarpet
you will have to get a mate to hold these still with an 18mm spanner on the bottom of the car.
chuck the new one on (this is where the 2 mates come in) bolt it up. put the handbrake and brake lines back on. fill the brake resevoir up with brake fluid and bleed all the brakes.
chuck every thing back on and check the hand brake and brakes work.
id never done it before and there were 2 of us and it took about 8 hours, which did inlcude collecting the new one.
