If you want hard youve bought the wrong springs.

The gmc 40mm bilstein will be hard yet habdle well.

    Why do you want 'hard'?

bilstein last a lot longer than most and work very well

Pi's (looong story lol) are as hard as you get ! Koni off car adjustable shocks are what jul2vtr has on hers and its really really firm !!!

hard isn't necessarily good. You only want them hard enough to control the motion of the spring. For example I used to run a 205 with 280Ib springs on the road, the Leda 24 click adjustable dampers were turned 6 clicks from the softest setting..

You need a quality road spec damper. Anything more motorsport / track orientated should really be matched with a stiffer spring to avoid building a skittish car.

well im looking to use them for fast road spec and trackdays as i plan to do alot more...

    im on standards atm

i feel that it doesnt handle aswell as my old car which was on a spax adjustable kit.

so looking maybe to spend about 200 - 250 on the dampers and rear shocks

get billies, expensive but apparently very good!

yeh, billies all the way, cant fault mine. Get the the b8s and sportline springs off kam racing, or if you wanted a real stiff one then the group n's might be more up your street depending on whether your going to be driving like a nutcase on the road or where they are supposed to be used ie the track lol (in my opinion anyway i know they are fine for road)
