Thinking about removing the rear seats in the vtr due to the fact it could do with losing some weight as im using far too much petrol. Have'nt really looked at how to remove them but is it easy?

#2very.
Four screws for the back rest - found in the boot in the bottom corners, or tilt the seats forward and you can see them.
the bottom bench simple comes off by flipping it halfway u and pulling. -
#3cool anyone know how much the rear seats weigh?
-
#4won't have any real effect on petrol economy tbh.
-
#5they dont weight that much fella

#6I was thinking of getting rid of the spare wheel too but that probably not a gr8 idea. It costs me about a tenner and back to get to my gfs and that sure adds up hence my cheapskate ideas lol

#10rear seats and wheel wieghs around 25kg not gonna affect economy, may improve acceleration
-
#14My spare wheels deffinately hevier than my rear seats were lol, I know theres a bit more too the saxo ones but I wouldn't have thought the seats alone weigh 25kg
-
#15pretty sure its around 25kg as i no it wighs around the same as the front seat as i used to take the passanger seat out insted of the rear so then i could still have 4 people in the car but was losing the same weight lol
-
#16just didn't think it'd be that heavy as I can only realy get the Ax down to 640kg from its original 750 and thats removing alot!, bear in mind theres not much to start with lol!
