REm vs supership

    Is a superchip basically the same as having your engine remapped?

    Are you refering to the company Superchips? If the car is being mapped live, such as being run on a dyno or the road during the session, then it's pretty much what we would consider to be a "re-map." If a generic chip is being inserted into your ECU, then it's not a re-map, as the configuration is not unique to your individual car.

    it's through a company in Plymouth called AP Motors. Not sure it's it's live mapping or not i'll phone them tomorrow and find out
