    depends on what youve done to the car, if its only engine mods like induction, manifold, decat and full replacment peformance exhaust a re-map of your current ECU will be better and cheaper than a superchip even if you have new cams and throttle body you can just have the ECU remapped for much less than the price of a superchip

    Standard ECU won't run iTB's

    so anything up to cams but not TB's.

    TB's, turbos and superchargers all require a superchip then?

    they require a standalone ECU not a superchip.

    Sometimes people use piggyback ECUs but its not ideal

    yegh i've heard that piggyback ECU's are pretty risky. From what ive heard they only make the ECU think that the car or air comming into the car is colder then it actualy is, if wrong please correct

    im gunna sound thick but what is re mapping the ECU....do i just go to a garage and ask them to re map it and they will know what im on about?
    what does it help?
