Need more performance in my 1.1i. HELP!

   I want to up the performance some how, with about £150. Can anyone help?

   Theres not much you can do to a 1.1 tbh mate.
   
   Especially with £150.
   
   It would probably get a performance exhaust, but you wont really notice any performance from it bud.
   
   Best off to save the money for a new car tbh, or maybe a new engine?

   save up tbh for a vtr or Vts... or even a furio i spose.
   
   Failing that you could do a 16v conversion but thats not cheap/

   yeah was thinking about get VRT or a VTS whats the difference.

   there both 1.6's vtr has 8v's and vts has 16v.

   90/98 bhp compared to vts..

   tbh depending on your age, a engine transplant is out of the question unless you want the insurance companies to rape you

   no point in modding a 1.1 will never see any real gains....especially with £150....
   
   buy a VTR/S then think about doing performance mods....bearing in mind the extra cost it will cause on your insurance
   
   Save up....i used to have a 1.1 and started thinkg of trying to mod it to make it faster...but i saved a little and got myself a VTR....

   for now, just drop in a panel filter and strip the car. remove all unecessary weight as this is the most cost effective thing you can do to improve performance. and just be saving up for a VTR/S
