Mk2 VTS Cat 2001

   How do i replace the cat on a mk2 vts? Do i have to buy a manifold or is it jsut a pipe like on the mk1?

   on a mk2 the cat was located in the manifold i believe? i could be wrong...dont hold it against me

   VTS' don't have the cat in the exhaust manifold, they have them afterwards, which is actually located on the downpipe. When you buy a new cat, it will come with the downpipe already attached, which makes a total length of about 2 feet roughly... It's just a case of swapping them over.

   you just have to replace the pipe.

   dannybmate where did you get the pipe to replace your downpipe from?

   take it off and put the new one on!
