driving along the road and i start to hear a weird noise and then a rattle i notice sumthing in the mirror and i see my air filter bounce 3 times and under the car behind and then crushed by a bus. so my question which air filter would you all recommend for my VTR?(prefrebly one that is securely fitted)

#2bmc cda ftw, or just buy another standard one orrr get a raceland with green filter, i secured all mine down with cable ties, just tied everything off to different brackets in engine bay

if your after performace as said before a raceland or some form of enclosed
if its just noise your after then something like a pipercross( which i happen 2 have one for sale..drop us a PM if your interested)..all of which are nice and secure in the engine bay -
#9I ave got a BMC on my vts which is good but i ave also got a raceland enclosed induction kit if you are looking for one. Just thought i would tell u mate.

Personally I'd get either the Raceland for a cost effective performer or the BMC for one that fits and is made really well.
The Green ones we are taking off the site now due to problems with supply and the fact that they don't represent good value or perform any better than the Raceland. -
