i have 25mm hubcentric spacers and when i fit them and try and bolt my wheel and bolts to it, the bolts are too long and the wheel wont fit tight at all...any ideas what i can do or what bolts i need?? thanks

Are they hubcentric ones? If not, then you need 25mm bigger bolts than standard.

did you put the spigot rings pn the inside of the spacers?
them plastic rings which come with your wheels

the wheel fits perfect on the spacer its just the bolts are too long...??

Did the spacer not come with new proper length wheel bolts?

Only bolts that came with the spacer was to attatch the spacer to the hub.....

i know exactly what you mean. i had the same problem with mine. i dont think the others have understood.

basically you need shorter bolts. no way round it. i found that some cheap locking bolts from ebay were a couple of mm shorter and they did the job perfect. they were under a tenner for 4 so it will probly cost you around £40 but that will get you locking wheel nuts all round.

if you need a temp fix, you can stick a couple of mm spacer in between the wheel and the hubcentric spacer. this will let you use the bolts you have at the moment but i wouldnt advise doing it for a long period of time.

or cut ur bolts down a bit thats wot i would do

is it safe to cut the bolts??

yeah as long as a good amount of tread still goes in it will be fine just cut a bit of at a time till u get it right then cut the rest to that length and it will be fine
