#3what you just painted the bare metal or put a false floor down?
-
#4Nothing yet.
Will just put a false floor down -
#5dont want to put a floor down as it is extra weight, want to keep it stripped. i saw someone else had painted the rear in white hammerite but after a long search i couldnt find it to ask them for more pictures
-
#6Thats fair enough.
Ill be putting a false floor down... then perhaps a couple of subs -
#7sand back to bare metal and do it, will look hot as hell for that track slag feel
-
#8i did my nova track car with black hammerite, looked really mint. i just cleaned it up, got all the sticky stuff out and lashed it on
-
#9Pics at all lynch?
-
#10you dont need to sand it back to bare metal.
just paint it like you would any body part.
use normal car paint. -
#12The rear seats weigh bugger all...is there any point?
-
#13hard_corejoeboy yer they do weigh a fair bit along with everything else, ive done a hard_core strip and taken almost everything, no doorcards front or rear, no rear seats, no boot trim, no rear seat mechanisms, no rear seat belts. everything all adds up mate

#14I done this the other day.
Just used fine grade sandpaper, and sanded so the polish of the pervious paint was off. (didnt need to sand to bare metal)
Then sprayed over the top with normal spray paint.
Came out decent enough, havent got pics atm sorry
