shouldnt need much more, only a few small parts to finish it off, not sure exactly but cnt see it being much as there a direct fit..

thanks bud, do you think £450 is about right for the bits, he has upt it from £400 to £450.

does the engine inc both manifolds ?
and can you also get the gearbox with it ?

gear box, engine, loom, ecu, inlet manifold, outlet manifold would be a nice, he did say i will get every thing to convert.

would help if it came with exhaust manifold.(i would of thought it would be with a inlet manifold any) Gearbox would be a benefit but you can use your vtr one if need be.

just bear in mind if your own cars a keypad type and the vts ,is chipped key (or vice versa) then your going to run into quite aload of wiring trouble
    or
big engine loom conector // little engine loom connector

i will push him for the outlet manifold on the day i buy it, so hopefully i might get that as well.
my vtr is keypad type, am i right in thinking that the key pad and ecu are linked, if i by passed the keypad and used the chipped key with the vts's egnition switch (that is if it is the chpped key type that is) would this be the best rout to take.

you would ideally need a vts keypad type ecu then , rather than the chipped key type

just found out the 16 valve is a keypad start, so its the same as mine, so all good at the moment, would the drive shafts be the same as my vtr.

    thanks for the info tif.
iv just been to have a look at the engine and give a deposit, it's a good engine, no nocks or rattles or oil leaks.
he wont let the outlet manifold go with the engine, ha has a buyer for that £200 for the full stainless decat system, now, will i need to change the fuel system or will my vtr fuel system do the job, thanks for any replies.

you may need to put a fuel return pipe from the rail back to the tank ( to do it properly) but cant really think of out-else of top of my balding head
