Super chips remap....

Hi there,

me again, has any1 had their VTR remapped by superchips? Im thinking of having mine done and the rev limit raised to 7000rpm. any ideas of the extra OOOMPH it will give? i already have a green cotton enclosed forced induction kit, 4 2 1 manifold, decat pipe, full magnex system and an ecotek valve. would it need to be set up to run with these mods?

super chips suck.

get a dastek or your ecu remapped, also no point in higher rev limit since your car makes peak power waaay before that

yeah ive heard superchips suck too! dastek or a remap is what id go for too!

took my vtr to superchip,gota k+n,full s/s system,4-1 manifold and sport cat.they fitted the chip then had to take it off coz they said it was pinking (under fueling).didnt charge tho.geting a uni chip now and just geting em to sort the fueling out.good luck mate.

Totally agree with scott, Superchips are just a chip thats added to the car and you cant change any setting with them! ALL CARS ARE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT thats why a piggyback ecu is better, settings can be changed!

i need my vtr chippin as i think its pinkin at bottom end, so which would b the best,

if it's pinking then i think you need to get your engine looked at before you touch the ecu.

any ideas where i can get a remap or a unichip that would work with all my mods? in the north east
