   Yeah maybe just a little to dark lol!! try spraying them but either in a lighter shade or only one coat of the dark instead of a few mate.

   but i think i might try and buy a cheap set of those lights and give it a shot and see what they turn out like

   imo the first pic looks better. however, if you did do this it would be ilegal as the lights would then have no reflectors on the lights

    Personally I like the blacked out look... I have mine done (all black apart from a little bit of red reflector) Not sure what the Police are like up in Glasgow, but im down in Kent, and I don't get pulled at all for mine, however i have to change them back to the originals to pass an MOT.

    but like i said i might just but a cheap second-hand set or new if i cant find second-hand ones but i was thinking about doing the second one because im nearly 100% that this hasnt been done before ( to my knowledge anyway) and i want something that will get noticed and looks good (imo anyway) but dosnt look to over the top or out of place if you know what i mean

    Been pulled a fair few times and they didnt have any issues with my lights, even though they have no reflectors

    imo ultra smoked jewels dont look dark enough for a black car but could always give them a few coats of tint spray and personally i dont like black cars with totally blacked out lights im not fussy lol but i want something that looks right.
    
    if you got any comments/suggestions on what lights would suit a totally black VT* ( wheels,lights,grill,badges etc) post them up with pics if you have any to hand

    its just the clear lexus lights with the bottom half sprayed red (if your on about the black vtr at the begining)

    i think if u tint the bottom half all red and then light tint in black after would look ace!
