LED Grommets

    I have just completed depinning my saxo vtr mk1 and am about to fill the holes in with grommets. However I would like to install an LED into the grommet to make it look like an alarm system is fitted. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a guide or if they have any information on fitting the LED aswell as wiring it to a power supply.

    just buy a flashing led with some resistors

    get them wire to the door pin hole then all you have to do is wire the live to the permanent live and the earth to the switched live, this way it turns them off when you switch the ignition on and come on when you turn it off

    so say i wanted a flashing LED on my dash, if i wired one of em to the milage bit of the clocks, and the other to the cd player power supply, it would only come on when the car is off?

    positve on led to a permanent live

    and negative on led to a switched live
