on the two vtr's would i need anything extra for fitting a mk2 speedo into my mk1? is there a guide or anything?

dont think it would work am I right in saying different connectors.. and the millage would be wrong etc would be a hassle when you come to sell.. The analogue ones arnt that bad just look abit old.

yeh think i might just get some newer dials just the inserts like preds plasma ones

Yeah, as said the connectors are completely different so it'll be more trouble than its worth. I'm not entirely sure how the odometer works - i.e. whether it would even be possible to rewire the looms if you wanted to.

because im putting a mk2 engine in my mk1, i need the full interor wiring, for back lights and everything so think you would need the same, so that the clocks can plug in.

Definately different connectors as the mk1 is analogue and the mk2 is digital. Would be absolute hassle to do tbh

lol thats just it, but 400 quid is steep for 2 days work tbh, of that, could have 1 person on wiring, one on engine, done in no time.

and im not just picking engine up from scrappy, got full car sat ourside
