Help replacing Mark1 Bonnet

    Just brought a new bonnet as mine had flipped, Looking though Hayes manual they have made it sounds simple.

    Can any one confirm its simplly removing the 2 bolts either side on the bonnet to the hinges and poping out the washer cable..

    Plus any one know how to remove the washer cable holder without breaking the black bits..

    Nail on the head. It's just 4 bolts. The little black clips have tabs on the rear side - usually you just squeeze them together and they'll pop out

    yes it is that simple, i took mine off on my own while i worked on it and put it back on my own, bit easier with 2 people tho.

    i just signed up dont have a clue how to use this ! i have just stripped my other vtr as head gasket kept blowing changed twice pressure tested and skimmed etc ! so i have stripped it have all the parts for sale its a mk1 i have a full DIMMA BODY KIT including front and back bumpers and skirts all with dimma inprints and a dimma boot lid with spoiler and tinted window also has the dimma inprinted into the boot lid other parts available including bad boy bonnet with hood vent all in midnight blue contact me on 07817620216. cheers sam
