ashley exhaust

   not very good with exhuasts i have a vts with 4-branch will be haveing cams etc in about a month. Is the ashley cat back system(m.o.t soon) going to give me more power than my custom exhaust.

   yeah it will mate, they are made specially for performace. i thought ashley were super loud ???

   Yeah theyre known for good gains, but noise wise theyre def near the top of the list

   There really loud? Even though it will have a sports cat middle box and backbox? My exhuast now only has the cat then a stright through pipe thats loud.

   yeah apparently ashley are stupidly loud exhausts, i remember i was going to buy one off potn but there was a warning on there saying how loud they are!!! they are proper race systems.

   Mate, you cant say how loud they are if youve never owned one!
   
   Ive had mine for about a year and its awesome!
   
   Its not loud at all! In fact its failry subdues compared to the likes of supersprint or piper etc. Its just VERY deep! And thats with a 4-2-1 decat.
   
   Performance wise it is excellent.
   
   Cant go wrong with ashley tbh!

    Custom ones are pretty crap, and only cater for looks and sound. Not performance.

    Buy the Mk2 VTR system and it will decat it anyway
    
    Any decat pipe will do the job i'd have tought.

    its a normal ashley exhaust sytem with twin back boxes mounted at 45 degree angles, i dont know where it is from but it was on the car when i bought it and all the mag features have written in the boxes at the side custom ashley exhaust

    i used to have a full ashley comp zorst on my VTR with a piper 4 branch sounded brillent but it was very loud and raspy
