pipercross filter SLOWING my car??

    hello all

this will probably be a quick one but-

today i put a pipercorss filter on my car, the open foam one. im not sure if im going crazy but im sure its slowing me down. i have a de-catted system on so the filter makes virtually no differnce to the noise of my car, maybe a slight gruntier tone but not much.

but i honestly feel like its re-stricting me like im on elastic or somethin.. i am planning to get a raceland soon but im thinking of takin the pipercross off. whats everyones thoughts on filters?? are pipercorss hemp? cos they look good

Could be sucking in too much hot air. Either fit a cold air feed or get an enclosed kit.

it wil be the air filter sucking all the hot air up from the engine. As ste has said get a cold air feed to it or move it nearer the front of the car. Behind the passenger headlight is a good place.

the pipercross are loud but performance they are crap i would put the standard air box on till u get a raceland and if you do get a bigger green filter to put in they are wicked
