Panel Filter OR Induction Kit

which gives better performance on a vts?
  2. #2
    hi again hehe.

When you say panel filter do u mean just an ordinary sports filter like K&N??

I have a K&N air filter on my VTS and it has produced better sound but that's about all sometimes I think the performance is reduced esp when been running for a while as the air feed becomes warmer making the engine work harder using more fuel. I think the whole induction kit is the better option for performance as it also feeds in cold air

Get a BMC enclosed induction kit m8

    Enclosed induction kits rock.
    Any open filter is shite.

I might invest in a BMC when I get paid next week! About £150ish aren't they???

    think its something like this

i heard they are meant to give better performance than an induction kit

go for an enclosed filter matey, will see the benefits more powerwise. bmc is the way id go mate.

danny- yeah they are bout that price.

    agree with fre(d)vo

I have a pipercross filter on mine but bmc is the way forward they work well with vtr/vts can gain about 5 - 10 bhp with them i think.
