was just wondering if anybody had given it a go

i ask as mine need doing
ive got a gti rear bench
    and leather omp buckets
then the cards are still in poo standard trim

just wondering if its awkward to do

they are just fiddily mate. i just used fabric for mine but i cant see leather been any different as long as you get it on without any creases.

theres someone on here that does them for £60 in leather

    i have done it mate

it is awkward and id recommed that the leather should be quite stretchy

also two pairs of hands help a lot, with leather its probablies best to get it done professionally as its best to have it in two parts and stitched togetheor else it will just pull away from the doorcard being stretched that much

or use some vinyl instead as its a lot stretchier

Had a go at doing mine last year, wasn't very happy with them so I now have some out of a 1.1 Desire.

But if they are any use to you can have them as tempory ones, tho your leccy mirror switch won't fit and the have holes for tweaters.

Yeah they do Simon that`s what I think I will do with my doorcards they look rubbish at the moment & the fabrics split on the drivers side too.
