what colour to paint wheels??

    anyone know a good place that powdercoats wheels near scunthorpe? and what colour do you think would look best? i think white, but my mate thinks black. what would be best?

    before i did my wheels myself i enquired in some local scunthorpe garages n bodyshops about refurbs, everyone i asked mentioned a place in cleethorpes that does it.. hear' say quote was £40 a wheel.

    yer will get it lowered but want alloys done too. how did you paint the wheels yourself? is it difficult to do?

    Easy really! sanded them right back to the metal with wet 'n' dry & nitro mors, then bought primer gloss black and laquer from halfrauds! sprayed them over the space of a week, added a pinstripe! badda bing! done.

    do a search on yell.com for sprayshops in or around cleethorpes.

    sounds easy, but im not confident though lol. not sure if i could do that, id probarbly ruin them.

    will try the scunny one first i think mate, i work in winterton so the scunny one on winterton road is only a few miles away lol. will let you know what they quote if they do wheels. thanks mate

    cant really ruin them mate, its piss easy, im in the process of doing mine,

    just nitro mores one, wait for it to go dry n stuff then sand away for aaages till back to metal, or you could even just sand back to the orignal primer and spray over that.

    its really easy, good guide on here.
