I think your car looks really nice, and the wheels suit it. I've got 16" on mine at the moment and was thinking of upgrading to 17", how much is your car lowered by and do they rub?...................stay with the saxo

I dont like big wheels on saxo's tbh. Just dont look right to me.

    I'd stick to 14's maybe 15's.

    Do 17s rub?
  4. #4
car looks nice as it is wouldnt change alot more, maybe the rear lights
  5. #5
its lowered 35mm on front and 3 clicks on the back which i think is 40mm. it rubs on full lock and a little bit at the back my boyfriend had to cut the brackets off for the corners of the rear bumper before that they scrubbed like hell xxx

mines lowered 60mm all round, best stick with 16" then!!!
  7. #7
    does yours rub with 16"
  8. #8
no, doesn't even rub with a car full, all the wheels i like only come in 15" or 17", so i'll keep looking. Where did you get yours from?

is your car a 206 gti or saxo? bit confused
  19. #19
similar except the rim lip which i can remove at any time as its vinyl! cost me about £200 for the look, im more into DIY mods.

Yeh i'd go with the smoked look.
I've went for silver and black theme with my car but im still nowhere near finished lol
You can get smoked jewels for the rear really cheap now too which is an option, i got mine new for £40.

there 15" &185 wide, very hard to kerb with 195 tyres on too!

looks good but im considering taking the red lip off as it makes the wheels look alot smaller like 13"s lol.

id get grill smoothed in, i followed the same way for smooth look but not over the top, got my pugeot badges on my 306 gti wheels off, getting lowered on friday will put up more pics but for now.....

if your car is lowered by "clicks" as you say (aka notches) then its done wrong
