vtr or vts

    im sure this has bin coverd before but is it realy worth changing a vtr engine for a vts one. at the end of the day its only 20bhp more aint it?

    plus what gains would you get on a vtr witha 4 branch decat?

    highly tuned VTR engines can get close to the power of a standard VTS engine but by the time you get there you might as well have got the S engine. definately worth doing it for the extra power though

    I've done the VTR to VTS conversion.. defo worth it! Cost around £500.. and you could spend that on a 4 branch and full system for the VTR..

    if u can afford the insurence between the 2 for me it was a £1000 hence y i got a vtr

    extra 700 more for me, but then the conversion would cost that

    what do you guys think, convert my vtr to a vts

    or sell vtr and buy a vts

    Buy something else.

    The VTS isnt cheap to insure, it works out im only paying about £80 extra
    to insure the Type R.

    hence the thread on the 306

    but i want to think it through

    and get pros and cons and that
