    hey,

i'm down -60mm on front and -70mm on back with 17' on 205/40/R17.

no rubbing, even with 3 people in the back but you have to do a fair bit of arch work and cutting and stuff.

    lee.

EDIT - and its a westie

17 aint worth it buddy...i know you said they just laying there....SELL THE BAR STEWARDS!!! lol

they say the smaller the alloy, the better handling (im being realistic by saying 14 is small people)

14-16 is what i would say a saxo is ok to do with out doing arch work

    Talk about majority

Please just sell the 17's and spend the spare cash on a decent set of 15's with 195/45 tyres dude...no work needed and you can shell out for nicer options

i quite like it tbh! not keen on the bodykit but im very fond of the wheels
  15. #15
I had 17s on my saxo for abit and i didnt need to do that much arch work tbh and i was down 40mm all round.

    Nothing wrong with 17's.

i couldnt handle the ride quality though - britans roads are shit tbh.

    that westie is well smart!

To hell with what everyone else thinks mate. If you want 17s on your Saxo, get it done. They can look smart as hell with the right wheels. Although i've got 15s, but that's because i wanted 15s lol

Ive got brand new 17's and mine is lowered with little arch work BIGGEST mistake i made. performance is now shit hadderling is now shit ride is now shit scrubs like shit and i dont think they look all that. If your going for the bodykit kit hotwheels look then there fine but if you want the good saxo look no bigger then 16"
