new car tuning help

   hi new to this and just bought a standard 2001 vtr
   need some tuning advice pls was thinking of spending some pretty good money so are there any mods you could reccommend apart from the simple induction, exhaust etc? wanting around 150+ bhp and good 0-100mph i kno that the vtr is fair slow after this

   vts engine about the best for the money
   
   then build on that

   yer was thinking about engine conversion but also insurance as im only 18,
   thought about a vts gearbox change as well any ideas how much increace in accelleration through gears would be? not much i would guess with standard vtr engine
