Clutch

Can anybody recomend a decent clutch that can withstand at least 170bhp? running through it? its for a VTR with a turbo.
The only people who I know do clutches are helix and AP Racing.
can anybody advise me on clutch pedal weight, prices and power/torque capability?

i think the ap one is a good one as i think simo has one, also matt who has the supercharged vts has an ap clutch! not cheap tho!

I think AP are about £500 but I have heard they are really heavy on the right foot. Has anybody tried a helix clutch before?

Helix is the best! AP racin or BlackDiamond are good alternatives.

mate ran a helix in his 106 he loved it!

i would be slightly wary of the blackdiamond clutches, purely because my mate put one on his slightly tuned rs2000 and it destroyed itself within the week. Then again that may just have been a one off

ive done approx 10k on my black diamond clutch now, no probs yet it still bits like a pitpull thats had its nuts squezed! lol

if ur running serious power dont risk it! go for a helix!
