they look fine to me tbh mate, there are raceland fixed back bucket seats on there for £240 for the pair and people on here have them and say they are great!

Id go for it tbh, seems like a good deal, just contact the seller first and make sure fittment etc will be ok

hmmm might get these, if i knew they'd fit alright.
  4. #4
They said they cannot guarantee fitment as there universal and wouldnt know sizes of all cars people wanted to put them in on there description i may contact the seller, they seem reasonably priced, want reclining ones for passenger purposes.

Saxo is such a small car but alot of buckets do fit so i think you'd be OK size wise.

Faily sure i recognise the style of that seat but cant remember the manufacturers name (began with a W i think, like Wizard or Wisdom or something remotely fantasy/Spacy sounding)

Cant comment on the safety of them only that they are fairly heavy but i've sat in a set of the leather kind and they are very comfy!

Subframes will be an issue unless you can hack up an old pair of saxo seats to get the subframes from them. Failing that im sure these are designed to fit Sparco subframes. A pair of sparcos subs will cost more than the seats though no doubt!

The problem with saxo subframes which causes the issue is that one of them bolts downwards to the floor, where as the outside one bolts sideways into the wall of the car beneath the door sill.

If you can find a cheap way to get some saxo subframes which fit then i'd say your onto a winner. Failing that they are comfy VERY cheap seats so maybe with some of the pennies you save you could just buy some Sparco subframes?

Cheers Mystic Nice one! Ill have a butchers when i get them might source some spare OE subs so i can butcher mine.
Are these the ones mystic http://www.sparco-tuning.com/pages/S...___01&PT=SSF02

I've no idea about the subframes im afraid, need to find someone who has Sparco seats in their saxo & see if they know the part numbers.

Dont get confused by the frames that they call "side mounting" that acctually refers to the way the frame bolts to the seat, rather than the frame to the car!

EDIT: Brainwave... "Cosmic" is the manufacturer of the seat!

Argh Cosmic! your a genious!! Will wait till i get them and go from there! Hopefully they will fit on the OE runners!

You got any pics of what you did. I got a grinder what is needed to be done though. Dont really fancy forking out £40 each for a piece of some runners that i already have. I got lots of time to do it im in no rush. Just tell me what you had to do to make them work with the standards please.

sorry realy aint worth it my mate only did it because the car is a show car and isnt used on the road there wouldn't be safe if you crashed only a cheap way of fitting buckets sorry but u'l want to buy the sub frames
  24. #24
Links to reasonably priced sub frames please. Not really wanting to pay £40 a side thats ridiculous for what they are.
  25. #25

No lol. Could someone link me to a site which sell saxo specific sub frames? I cant seem to find any, anywhere. Would the saxo specific frames definatly fit the seats though??
