Which black paint

   I going to spray my chevrons on my grill black, so I have bought some gloss black paint, do I need to laquer it?
   
   Also if I had bought matt black and used that with laquer would it look the same as gloss black.
   
   These might be dumb questions but Im not sure what to do.

   not sure about the matt black bit, but yeah id laquer it as u might start to get stone chips etc on it so the laquer should offer some sort of protection.

   i used 3 coats of gloss black on my chevrons, then about 5 good coats of laquer.
