2l xsara vts head into saxo vts 1.6

    im looking for a new head for my saxo vts and ive seen a xsara vts 1 but its a 2l even though its bigger capacity engine will the head fit my block as a direct fit or is it completly different thanks

    Completely different mate

    Its miles bigger with it being a 2.0 16v so it will not fit

    get a c2 or a 206 head

    ive herd that they fit

    Different family of engines.

    For the least amount of hasstle fit a saxo vts or 106 gti one!

    206 (1.6 not 2.0gti or 180) & C2 have lower compression when fitted to a saxo block & need a few bits changed!

    the problem is just finding 1 i have rang every breaker i know and they will only sell me a complete engine for 400 quid egay is much better

    Keep searching ebay, every now and again a head comes up thats got cams in etc and they usually go for about 200 - 300 - Not bad tbh. Just make sure you get prooooof of purchase of any form of work done to the head.
