Induction Kit In 1.1 Saxo

  1. #1
Could anyone tell me the best way to fit an induction kit in my saxo 1.1, I have heard of many ways of this but to know the best way to reduce in the air flow by using my existing standard cold air feed. Its a 1.1 carb engine.

    Suggestions?

    Your 1.1 has injection!
Also all saxos are injection - its the only way they could meet the emissions levels!

that is the worst ind. kit i have seen and would be losing you so much power.

but why stick an induction kit on a 1.1?

best ind. is enclosed at the front of the car with a scoop like the racelad one but they dont do one for your car.
the heatsoak going into that will be phenomonal, dont you get any hesistation when 'booting' (pmsfl) from a stand still?
you will also be flooding the engine with air because the filter needs a longer neck so as soon as you open wide the throttle itl just flood it with petrol.
if its all about noise just take the filter off and run it straight to carb, stick some of your mums old tight s over the throttle body to filter any stones lol,and you got noise gallore, but it will be slower.
i tell you what yu should do,stick the standard induction on and put a panel filter in it.
will notice an increase in power, although not noise so may not be what you want lol.
