Basically my one has had it (standard VTR one) - Previous owner attempted too paint blue then decided not too....thank god. how easy are the saxo one too get off? how do i put the ibiza splitter on?? what work exactly needs to be done. how does it secure?? how will it look? anyone with any advice or pictures etc will be much appreciated. also anybody near me that can do them i will pay to do it. thanks in advance

standard saxo splitter cant be removed unless you cut it as it is part of the bumper.

Best thing to use to fit ibiza to the bumper is llots of self tapping screws. They will hold it on securely. You can leave the standard splitter on and the ibixa one will fit underneath it.

The saxo bumper corners are sharper than the ibiza corners. Triangular shaped slits will therefore need cutting on the inside of the ibiza splitter to let it bend. One it is bent to shape, screw the ends of the splitter onto the saxo bumper. The ends of the splitter can then be trimmed as they will be too long.

Fitting is easiest if the bumper is off the car.

    Pic of it fitted:

not sure on part number but just ask seat dealer for a splitter off an ibiza gti or cupra-r. They will know what you mean.

Self tappers work well. mine was on for years and never shifted. In the end the splitter was ripped off on a speed bump but the top piece stayed stuck to the bumper.

just cut original saxo splitter off with a jigsaw if its that bad.

£18 inc vat when i bought mine iirc but that was about 4 years ago - probably a bit more now what with inflation and all that.

there is no gap on them - all solid. On the rear a hole needs to be cut out
