exhaust heat shields

   can i remove them? i started to paint underneath the car today and i think it would look so much tider without them. i have already took the backbox shield off just thought i get other opinions on the rest.

   Well ive had the heat sheild near where the cat would be took off, as it was rattling, never had any problems....
   
   i would leave the one near the fuel tank on tho lol

   they just unbolt, i wouldnt run without one though. they are there for a reason

   but my exhaust is heatwrapped right up th the back box
